A Day Full of Perk

“How should I use Perk?”

This is a question that I get all the time. And while you may find your own way to use our products, I thought I would share a typical day and how the Perk products work together to help maintain health and happy taste buds.


4:45 a.m.

I get up early. Usually between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. Having a mug of Perk Energy to look forward to gives me a real reason to pull back the warm sheets and step out of the bed. I know that my Energy Mexican Hot Chocolate is going to make my taste buds happy and fuel a good attitude. 7g of protein, antioxidants, some caffeine and collagen get me ready to tackle email and morning tasks and helps me make it to my workout without filling up with a heavy breakfast.


8:00 a.m.

After getting a few hours of work done, I am ready to shift gears to working out. Today I am dinking Turbo Pre-Workout Mango Citrus Habanero. The sweetness of mango and citrus paired with a light spiciness that switches your brain on and helps your body prepare to max out your training. With patented Nitrosigine® and Citrulline Malate, Turbo helps increase blood flow which improves performance and increases muscle building. Beta Alanine aids in buffering lactic acid (one of the mechanisms that cause the burning sensation in you muscles) so you can push yourself. Additional ingredients support positive mental state, recovery and stamina. I time my workout so that I start within 30 minutes after I finish my Turbo. I am fueled up and good to go!


8:45 a.m.

Time to get moving. I have some weightlifting planned today and I love to sip on Perk Do Work BCAAs+ during the workout. It keeps me moving and it keeps me from getting hungry. Just a few sips between sets keeps the motivation high and the taste buds happy. I drink about half during the workout and enjoy the second half just after.


12:00 p.m.

I am pretty hungry by noon and ready to eat. Last night I made some rice flavored with Perk Wellness Southwest Chicken Broth. I use this nutritious rice as the base of a delicious bowl with avocado, salsa and chicken. The wellness provides collagen, turmeric extract, ginger extract and holy basil to give your body immune system support and aid in fighting inflammation.


3:30 p.m.

Mid-afternoon meetings can make me soooo sleepy plus I get snacky that time of day so a mug of Perk Energy Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Pretzel helps me avoid my mid-afternoon slump and get through the day without resorting to treats of snacks plus it keeps me from snoring through Zoom meetings. 6:30 p.m.

In the summer, I like to be outside in the evenings — especially playing touch rugby in a park with friends. It is still absurdly hot most evenings so drinking BCAAs with electrolytes in delicious Peach Buttercream flavor make the heat bearable. Plus, this second serving gives us 12g of BCAAs in a day, an amount demonstrated in studies to have a positive effect on athlete's immune system factors.

 


9:30 p.m.

Having an evening routine is really beneficial for developing healthy sleep habits.
